After finishing college with a BS in Biology, Marine Science (Shippensburg University/Wallops Island Marine Science Consortium, 1989), Jill spent the next 11 years as an Environmental Specialist with the Maryland Department of Natural Resources (MD DNR), working to restore and create non-tidal wetland and riparian areas.
Long story, short, she began to sense a different call which led her to educational ministries in the church. She continued her education and training in education/teaching (HACC) and theology (LTS and Union). Now, nearly 20 years later, Jill has served in ministry through First Presbyterian Church of Strasburg, Wayside Presbyterian Church, Parish Resource Center, First Presbyterian Church of West Chester, the Presbytery of Donegal and Camp Donegal, the Eastern Board of the Association of Presbyterian Church Educators and now at Grace United Church of Christ.
She is honored to answer a call to serve at Grace United Church of Christ in Lancaster, and work with this phenomenal community of faithful followers of Christ, seeing where God takes us on this new adventure together!
